Founder & EditorChicago-based vintage collector Ariel started Bowbari to make vintage shopping more accessible. She finds that many higher-end fashionistas love and crave vintage pieces but are not interested in the riff raff of cluttered thrift stores and online marketplaces.
Ariel aims to learn the best way to serve vintage enthusiasts and new vintage customers a wonderful online shopping experience, and one day, make a positive impact on the way we as a society shop and consider used and vintage clothing.

DeveloperTony is a veteran software developer and has aided and launched a handful of successful startups including Local Motors and JetJaw. All of her talent is priceless, but her dedication as a supporter and friend makes her irreplaceable.
Lisa Pietrzak
Makeup Artist & Hair StylistLisa has the hands of a surgeon and the endurance of a cyborg. She does beautiful hair and makeup and doesn’t stop. Lisa is also a connector, helping to bring together the talented group of people who made our initial photoshoots a great success. Wardrobe CoordinatorAmanda has been in school for most of her life and is now an Anthropologist who works at a Chicago-area Non-Profit. You might think her interest in social anthropology has driven her participation in a vintage clothing collection, but really we think she does this for fun. She is incredibly warm, incredibly detail oriented and our dressing rooms would be a mess without her. We’d also miss her terribly if she wasn’t around.
