Ariel Ferreira

Chicago-based vintage collector Ariel started Bowbari to make vintage shopping more accessible. She finds that many higher-end fashionistas love and crave vintage pieces but are not interested in the riff raff of cluttered thrift stores and online marketplaces.

Ariel aims to learn the best way to serve vintage enthusiasts and new vintage customers a wonderful online shopping experience, and one day, make a positive impact on the way we as a society shop and consider used and vintage clothing.

Tony Blank

Tony is a veteran software developer and has aided and launched a handful of successful startups including Local Motors and JetJaw. Tony has many talents aside from swift code writing; he makes the world’s best homemade broth and writes and performs his own songs. You may find him at open mic nights around the country.

Jake Hinga

Amy Winters

Amy Winters has worked in fashion from coast to coast, with labels like Poleci, Lana Jewelry and more. Most recently Amy joins us from the salon and beauty industry, bringing a unique perspective on all aspects of styling. She is a creative perfectionist and welcomes challenges. All of her talent is priceless, but her dedication as a supporter and friend makes her irreplaceable.

Lisa Pietrzak

Lisa has the hands of a surgeon and the endurance of a cyborg. She does beautiful hair and makeup and doesn’t stop. Lisa is also a connector, helping to bring together the talented group of people who made our initial photoshoots a great success. Tyng Kam

Tyng is a natural marketer and brand developer. She loves the intrinsic stories in handcrafted pieces like the ones at Bowbari. Tyng holds an MBA from University of Illinois, and has previously owned her own import/export business featuring handmade garments and objects from around the world. Amanda Abramson

Amanda has been in school for most of her life and is now an Anthropologist who works at a Chicago-area Non-Profit. You might think her interest in social anthropology has driven her participation in a vintage clothing collection, but really we think she does this for fun. She is incredibly warm, incredibly detail oriented and our dressing rooms would be a mess without her. We’d also miss her terribly if she wasn’t around.

Elissa Bowes

Generous and affable, Elissa is more than her amazing curly hair and easy smile. She is a lawyer, and advocate and an incredible encouragement to our team. Dear Elissa, we think you’re wonderful.

Afton Aurand

Afton is comfortable in front of or behind the camera. A natural creative, Afton is a photographer, creative director and music enthusiast. She’s also one of the most adorable people we know.

Adrianna Burgo

Psychology student by day, Adrianna has been modeling for several years. Her confidence, professionalism and energy are invigorating. If you get the chance to work with Adrianna, you should. She is fantastic.

Jennifer Rifkin

Jennifer is a true romantic and seer of beauty. She may or may not be working on her first romance novel, and she definitely copywrites for a fortune 500 company. Her turn of a phrase can paint a picture and we look forward to writing new Bowbari stories with her.

Justine Hausner

Smart as a whip and pretty as can be, Justine is a lawyer and Bowbari’s advisor. Our t’s are crossed and our i’s are dotted, and with Justine we had a blast the whole time.
